Coming form the huge success of the original Samsung Galaxy Ace, is the new Samsung Galaxy Ace 2. It is the first mid range phone which has got a dual core processor, running at a respectable 800Mhz. Performance is strong, and you can really tell it is a dual core phone. It has the features of its bigger brothers S2/S3 by having HD video recording, and good camera (5 megapixel), with flash. The only noticeable downside is the lack of Android Ice Cream Sandwich, however an update is expected soon, but those those who just want a fast phone, it runs Android Gingerbread 2.3 nicely.
It comes with 4GB of on board memory, but it is expandable with microSD card to 32GB, unlike some of the latest HTC phones. For the money, it is superb. While other manufacturers have similarly specced rivals out soon, the Galaxy Ace 2 stands alone as a great, cheap dual core Android phone. Available with free delivery now.
